Smiley Piercing Gone Wrong

Hey, I need help! I got my smiley pierced about 2 months ago, and I think I might have gotten irritation bumps. Could this be due to the piercing being made of I got my smiley pierced 3 days ago and I clean it everyday by swishing it with water. It is still tender and developed bumps on each side/some change in color.
